Expiry Date

Expiry Date

If you find
You can dismiss my love with a mere apology
The essence of my life boils down
To a scorned and chafed
travesty
Object of abject ridicule
If you can walk away so easily
Then it really is true

I am a fool

I think I’m done, it’s about time
I gave this charade up
Anyway,
I hear they’re signing members for
the Twenty Seven Club

  1. Very poignant and deeply sad in what it says about relationships and their outcomes ‘I am a fool’ hits hard – I hope it’s not ‘too’ autobiographical and that you are no ‘fool’ thank you – Grae:)

Loving someone like a fool is indeed foolishly painful. But it’s helpless sometimes. Great writ.
