Life, Interrupted -VI-

-VI-

I fell asleep hugging my pillow
Wearing your shirt
Smiling into the covers
Dreaming all night, of you

Wasn’t the same as having
My head on your chest
Or your arm around me
-but it’ll do

I can sleep peacefully, even with
Just a faint shadow of you

  2. Healing…healing. I am so blessed that my “shirt” is still here, my baby is so deep entwined in me…

…and with this poem, I am blessed to see healings arriving and your innate stubborn never-say-die- core throbbingly asserting itself!

so glad you are getting these things tempering the hurts, Sis!
