Interpretation

I can hear the blood pounding in my ears
One sweet inviting whisper’s all it that it takes
For my wings to open of their own accord
Send my senses soaring over the hills and lakes
There is a shiver on my neck, running down my spine,
There is a curve and an arch, an inviting glance
Every beat and every note that plays itself out
You and I are not strangers to this game, this dance
Step by step, stroke by stroke, builds anticipation
Masks are shuffled, feathers ruffled, rustling secrets fly
Hidden in the shadows of the greater jubilation,
You know when to grasp, and I know when to shy.
I know all I need to know, in turning and twisting
There’s a wonky halo that fell off someplace, somewhere
Nothing is to be said when looks will do instead,
Just like you don’t need to say you’ll catch me in the air.

Hello everyone! =)

Here starts my series of somewhat unedited poems. For the next week or so, you’ll have to put up with work a little.. rough around the edges. I’m posting from far, far away from my trusty poota, so the devil in the details is being neglected. My sincerest apologies for that.

Today is a good day again (yep, I’m up and running! Supermegasquishtacklehugs to everyone who sent me love when I was down, you knoooow that I love you so! ❤ ) And a dear friend is back after a long time no speak, so I'm having a really good day. =)

Hence the somewhat convoluted poem. Cheery me and fiery me are featured in equal parts. Hope you like it more than.. Jalapeño ice cream? (yergh!)

Day 24 of NaPoWriMo! Hope you all have smashingly awesome days! =)

Hugs and more hugs,

Cookie ❤

Cookie, this is borderline erotic…, in a nice way. Really great imagery…, and this is CONVOLUTED !!!???. It’s great.

I love it when you’re flying, girl, and you’re so very airborne in this one. The jubilation is shared and it tastes a lot like chocolate. Good stuff, sweetie.
